Plastic Card Magnetic Stripes

Magnetic stripes can be added to any plastic card order where the upper 1/3 of one side of the card is blank to accommodate the stripe. Magnetic Stripes are a very useful feature to add to your card order so that the new cards work with existing card readers and software programs.

Magnetic stripes store a small amount of information such as customer info, account numbers, member numbers, user id or also key access codes for locks and other mechanisms, such as ATMs. Most stripes can be encoded once or several times and they can be utilized in sophisticated software programs such as those used in Loyalty Card programs or Gift Card programs. The magnetic striped card works in conjunction with the promoter's software in order to provide the holder with special offers, credit towards purchases, marketing incentives and is also used in building databases that help discern buying habits of customers. This info is usefully because retailers can better serve their customer base by stocking the products they are most interested in buying. It also has many more uses that offer a wealth of valuable marketing applications.
